This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Bubble man! Awesome.
It is indeed no longer a mystery to me, but it shows what the marvelousness of the internet can do. Ive only had this site for a week or two.
bitchy bitchy bitchy.. thats all that the human race seems to be to each other nowadays..
and u ask me where i stand? well i couldnt give u a definite answer.
YOU have a point and THEY have a point too.
u see, you and them... u guys are doing EXACTLY what art wants you to do. dispute it. argue it. elaborate on it. find its meaning. find a stereotype. but you cant. and thats whats so wonderful about art.
i say to everyone: stop bagging and arguing with art. one of these days it'll get sick of u and come kick u in the ass.
and ultimately, remember its up to u to make up ur own opinion about art. fair enuff, since everyone has their own point of view. and u can always block out the type of art ur not interested in. its a choice. but u have to tolerate. if u cant tolerate, ur not an artist and u are conceited.
thats the end of my thesis.
enjoy art, enjoy life, have fun and let others do what they enjoy also. art= life.
luv, chrissy

I fail to see the relevance of your attempt to define art. A famous French artist once put a old toliet on a stand and showed it off at a show. Most people allowed it to be considered art. I am a writer. I consider my writing art. When I look at the sky and see the sun break over the horizon, I call that art. From what I've seen on your site, you do not have credible art according to your own standards. Your drawing of a cute goth girl is nothing more than a cheap chibi rip off of something else. According to you, this is not art. Your "Autopsy" picture is nothing more than modified copies, which, according to you, isn't art. Most people, when they begin to draw copy other people's style in an effort to develop their own. Sometimes, these people will discover their own characters, other times, they will stick to doing fan art, or fan fiction. Just because someone is showing their affection towards something they like doesn't mean that it isn't art. You say that art is dying, well, you, and people like you, are the disease. Whiners and complainers and lamenters kill the hopes and dreams of beginners, and without them, art is dead. So stop whining. Start using your efforts to create your own art, which by the way, is generally lacking.
And just because Anime is becoming popular doesn't make it a bad thing. Would you stop listening to your favorite band if they got popular? Without this upsurge in Anime popularity, we wouldn't be able to watch quality shows like Inuyasha, and Cowboy Bebop (just two examples) on TV. And to tell you the truth, I'd rather watch it on TV then to have to buy every single episode on VHS or DVD.
